This was the first meal that I cooked for him since we were married. Korean miso soup called doenjang jjigae(된장찌개) is very much comforting food for almost all Korean people. When they hear boiling sound of the soup from a kitchen, it reminds them of mommy who cooks for their family. Pretty much it signifies mom's love.
