Farmers Market

The one thing I really enjoy in Raleigh is to go shopping at Farmers Market. Contrary to the busiest city like New York there aren't many places crowded with people in Raleigh - even though Raleigh is a capital city in North Carolina. I used to hate crowded streets, markets, and tourist attractions when I lived in Manhattan, but after moving to here I sometimes miss the vigorous atmosphere surrounded by people walking around. The Farmers Market is one of the places where you can feel people's energy. Thus, I like going there not only for fresh vegetables, meats, and bakeries.

For our Saturday brunch, Matt and I explored a seafood restaurant, which is right next to the Farmers Market.

It offers southern style seafood which is mainly fried,
but we tried boiled shrimp and fish.

The Crab Cake Sandwich
It was really good.

Next to the bakery where we bought a loaf of fresh sourdough bread,

There was a flower stand selling various kinds of beautiful flowers.
I couldn't pass it. I started picking up the flowers that I liked.

The bouquet from Farmers Market became a pleasant object in our living room.
